Racing For Steve-O Foundation was formed in memory of Steve (Steve-O) Smith during his battle with brain cancer. He was known as one of the most decorated amateur triathetes of all time. Before passing in 2014, it was his wishes that all funds raised in his memory benefit Michiana’s residents with special needs so they would have more opportunites to participate in recreational therapeutic activites, inclusive camps and modified sports.
Racing For Steve-O is ran 100% by volunteers. His daughter, Sarah Cira, is the Executive Director who has grown the foundation from the ground up in honor of her father and our community with special needs.
