Elkhart Environmental Center

The Elkhart Environmental Center is an environmental education facility that opened in 1991 on a remediated city dump. It has over 33 acres of dedicated trails, prairie space, wetlands, and riverfront, which are always open to the public. The Center offers educational programs, events, and volunteer opportunities intended to connect the community to the environment. Information about the center’s programs and events can be found online at www.elkhartindiana.org/eec or on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/ElkhartEnvironmentalCenter.
