Join Green Bridge Growers for United Way's Day of Caring as hundreds of people from our community come together to volunteer on one day. Green Bridge Growers is an organization that addresses both food insecurity by growing fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as supports the employment of those with Autism. We need help cultivating, seeding, planting, and transplanting crops; organically fertilizing our crops , landscaping and beautifying our farmsite, painting, simple construction, cleaning our aquaponic equipment, hands-on and very simple, straightforward projects such as building a compost bin, completing the build of our vertical grow towers, moving topsoil into one of our greenhouses to level the slope, and other similar tasks TBA that will arise closer to the date of the event.
