Our schools need you! The Read United Reading Camps are comprised of 1st-2nd grade students just below grade level for reading skills. Through your mentoring and relationship, these students are provided a helping hand towards stepping up to grade level. All materials are provided including books and skill building activities. There is a brief training provided by teachers one week before the start of camps. Reading Camp will be held January 29th through March 21st on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5pm at four Elkhart schools and 3-4pm at five Goshen schools. You can sign up for one or both hours per week, or as part of the Sub Pool. In the past, couples or work groups split the days working with individual or small student groups. This is a WIN-WIN-WIN opportunity for students-teachers-and YOU!
