Camp Hope is a one day grief camp that Ryan’s Place puts on in the summer. We open up the camp to 24 children between the ages of 7-13 who have had a loved one die. This camp is free to the families. The campers spend the day doing fun and therapeutic activities to help them process their grief. We are looking for volunteers to come and help us by being big buddies with the kids for the day. You would essentially go around with one of the children’s groups and help them with their activities. You would also get to know the kids and hopefully act as kind of a mentor for the day. It is a super fun day and the kids love getting to come. The camp takes place at the Community Church of Waterford in Goshen.
