Tools for School Stuff-a-Bus

The focus of the Elkhart Education Foundation’s (EEF) Tools for Schools program is to place needed school supplies and hygiene items into the hands of teachers to distribute directly to their students. This year the EEF is partnering with the Salvation Army in our annual stuff-a-bus event on Saturday, August 3rd at Walmart on CR between 8am-3pm. As Walmart shoppers enter the store, volunteers are needed to distribute a school supply shopping list to each shopper. When shoppers exit the store with supplies, volunteers will place the supplies on the school bus. Volunteers are encouraged to take pics with shoppers if desired. A total of 16 volunteers are needed. We would like 2 volunteers at each door for each shift. There are 4 time slots: 8:30-11:30am, 11:30am-2:30pm, 2:30-4:30pm and 4:30-6:30pm. And if you have or know a student in the Elkhart Community School district, this would be an excellent opportunity for them to volunteer along with you!
