Our literacy programs provide additional support by pairing students with tutors in the community. Tutors work with adult learners to develop core literacy skills required to progress through the High School Equivalency (HSE) program (formerly called GED). Our English Language Learners (ELL) program uses an online program, along with class instruction, tutoring, and mentoring. The online program includes instruction to improve standard and workplace English language skills. The goal of the ELL program is to increase skills to the level needed to enroll in the HSE program and to pursue an industry-recognized credential or post-secondary degree.
