We will be picking up the trees for our Earth Day tree giveaway and we need helping potting them before the big event! Help us transplant the baby trees into new pots with fresh soil and compost. We have 200 trees to transplant, so we could use all the help we can get!

The Goshen Parks & Recreation is excited to host the 16th Annual Kerry’s Kids’ & Teens’ Triathlon! The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 11 at Shanklin Park in Goshen, Indiana. The Maple City Walk will take place on September 19, 2020 on the Pumpkinvine Trail. The Walk is now hosted by the Goshen Parks & Recreation Department. Participants have the option to walk a 10K, half or full marathon. Our department is in need of volunteers the day of the walk to staff the SAG

Volunteers are a large part of how we can stay open and continue to purchase beautiful handcrafted products from our artisans. Attend a brief orientation to volunteering at our store on Thursday, March 19, 7:00 – 8:30 PM.

The EEC will be hosting educational programming for Girl Scouts of different levels to help them meet their badge requirements. Support the various rotations/activities during the day! Training and supplies will be provided.

The Rock the Quarry Triathlon and Mile Swim is hosted by the Goshen Parks & Recreation Department at the beautiful Fidler Pond Park. Help Elkhart Public Library fill our ‘1000 Books Before Kindergarten’ bags to give to newborns and their families at Elkhart General Hospital. Tasks include collating flash cards/instruction folders and placing books, flash cards, growth charts in bags.
