Summit Volunteer – Archery Instructor

Experienced in archery or other target sports? Summit Adventure Volunteer – High Ropes Course/Rock Climbing Volunteer

Love heights and challenges? Love helping students reach their potential? Summit’s ropes course is, perhaps, the biggest attraction at Summit. With 34 elements, students are not just climbing around on a ropes course. They are given the opportunity to face fears, conquer challenges, and put the Core Values into a tangible experience. Summit Volunteer – Fishing Instructor

Have a love of fishing and being outdoors? Many lessons can be taught on the lake and many students have never had the opportunity to really be outdoors. The fishing rotation is fun, but also offers opportunities for crucial life lessons to be taught.

Summit Volunteer – Equine Volunteer

This is a special opportunity for those with a heart for animals. Five Star Life is need of volunteers to help with the equine program at Summit. Volunteer opportunities may include: – Cleaning stalls and barn – Feeding horses – Grooming horses – Exercising horses

Middlebury Fall Festival

Friday, September 15th, 10 am – 8 pm and Saturday, September 16th – 9:00 am – 5:00 p.m. Friday night entertainment, pork chop dinner at the fire station, crafts, art and concessions, ending the day with fireworks at Esssenhaus; Saturday – 7am – 10:00 am Sauage Gravy and Biscuits breakfast at the fire station, entertainment 

LYC Winter Basketball Coach

The season will start January 20, 2018 and conclude February 24, 2018. March 3, 2018 will be used as a weather make-up day if needed. All games will be played on Saturday mornings at the OLD Syracuse Elementary School. Most practices will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning January 16th, 2018. Days and times are 

Free Fall Carnival

Free Fall Carnival at Syracuse Community Center Saturday October 28th 6-8pm. Volunteers would help running carnival games and judging the costume contest.

Laundry

We trap approximately 15 free-roaming cats each weekend. Each trap has a fabric cover and pad. These items need laundered every week. We have 4-6 loads of laundry each week that needs done between Wednesday and Sunday. This can be a one-time commitment or the volunteer can select which week or weeks he or she

LaCasa uses skilled AND unskilled volunteers to renovate houses and other buildings into safe, attractive, affordable housing. Our East Lincoln Crossroads initiative in Goshen is turning 5 vacant or dilapidated buildings into much-needed multifamily rental units. We also have volunteer needs in Elkhart. LaCasa staff will be available the whole time you are volunteering, and 

Help Needed on a regular basis with our Red Barn Resale Shop

We need additional long term volunteers that could help with sorting donations, pricing items and also to work during retail hours of the shop (2nd and 4th Fri/Sat of the month. Working at the Red Barn requires a 2 hour Volunteer Orientation.
